Marcus S Deranian MD
Marcus S Deranian MD of Central Illinois Vision Center received extensive medical and ophthalmic training at Brown University and the University of Chicago-Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. After serving in the United States Air Force, Dr. Deranian began private practice specializing in modern cutting-edge cataract surgery. Dr. Deranian also does surgery and treatment for Glaucoma, provides diabetic eye care, and exams for macular degeneration. Dr. Deranian sees patients at our satellite locations and our Route 121 office.
Nathan A Crouch OD
Nathan A Crouch OD joined Central Illinois Vision Center is 2008. He received his undergraduate training at Knox College and his optometric training at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Crouch provides Pre-/post-op care for cataract surgery, treatment of eye diseases (including diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration), as well as exams for contacts and glasses. Dr. Crouch sees patients at our Route 121 office and our office in the Airport Plaza, near Mt. Zion.
Gary L Blackman OD FAAO
Gary L Blackman OD FAAO joined Central Illinois Vision Center in 2008. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Indiana University. Dr. Blackman has served as president of the Illinois Optometric Association and was a member of the board of the American Optometric Association. He has been a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry for many years and is the founding president of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) of Illinois. Dr. Blackman specializes in geriatric optometry. He provides peri-operative care for cataract surgery and provides diagnosis and treatment for macular degeneration, glaucoma and other eye diseases. Dr. Blackman sees patients at our Airport Plaza and Route 121 locations.
Jonathan R Bradley OD
Jonathan R Bradley OD joined Central Illinois Vision Center in 2012. He earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. In addition, Dr. Bradley has completed two optometric residency programs. The first was the Pediatric and binocular vision program at Indiana University where he gained experience treating children and adults alike with eye alignment problems. He then went on to complete a hospital based residency where he gained experience diagnosing and treating many different types of eye diseases in adults. Dr. Bradley enjoys treating children as well as adults. He spent several years in private practice before joining CIVC. Dr. Bradley has served in the US Peace Corps and, in his free time, enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and his new baby. Dr. Bradley sees patients at our Airport and Route 121 locations.
